Grammar Worksheets: Packet

With this packet of ten products in their repertoire, speech language pathologists, tutors, and teachers will be able to effectively help their students develop the grammar skills necessary to speak more properly and to write with descriptiveness and syntactical accuracy and complexity. The first three products in the packet, Subjects, Verbs, and Objects, Prepositional Phrases, and Adverbial Phrases, all work on the ability to identify subjects, verbs, and objects in sentences, at successive levels of difficulty. The next product, Verb Tense, works on the ability to identify past, present, and future verb tenses and use them correctly. Noun-Pronoun Agreement and Subject-Verb Agreement both help students attain agreement in terms of singularity and plurality. Parallelism works on the ability to attain and maintain parallelism within sentences. Adjectives and Adverbs extensively helps students improve descriptiveness by using adjectives and adverbs in their writing. Perspective Consistency helps students keep their perspective consistent when writing: a skill with which many students struggle. Lastly, Passive and Active Voice teaches students to distinguish between these two voices, and works on the ability to write in the active voice, thereby increasing the strength of their writing.
