Speech language pathologists understand the importance of having not only a strong expressive lexicon but a flexible one as well. This printable worksheet provides a number of sentences containing underlined adjectives and verbs; students must find three synonyms for each underlined word. Linguistic flexibility is discussed and use of a thesaurus or dictionary is encouraged.
