Grammar: Parallelism
One of the most common grammar mistakes I see in my high school students’ writing involves parallelism. Many of the test questions within the grammar sections of the SAT and ACT involve parallelism. This printable two-page worksheet starts with an explanation and examples of parallelism, followed by tasks requiring students to make corrections within sentences paraphrased from actual SAT practice sentences in order to attain parallelism.
